Niccolò Mencacci

He graduated cum laude in Medicine at the University of Milan Medical School in 2006. Afterwards he worked as a Neurology Resident from 2007 to 2011 in the Department of Neurology-Stroke Unit of the IRCCS Istituto Auxologico Italiano of Milan directed by Professor Silani. From March 2011 to July 2012 he spent his time working as a visiting research fellow at the Department of Molecular Neuroscience of the UCL Institute of Neurology –London under supervision of Professor John Hardy. After his Residency in Neurology achieved cum laude in September 2012, he is Clinical Research Associate/PhD student at the UCL Institute of Neurology-London under supervision of Prof J. Hardy and Prof. N. Woods. Dr. Mencacci has his main interest into the clinic and genetics of Parkinson’s Disease and of other movement disorders (dystonia, corea and myoclonus).
